This is my latest Minton's China works tiles acquisition. It is a teapot stand with ceramic feet of the York Minster in York, England. My Dad was born in York and this is one of my favorite cathedrals, so I purchased it. This is probably from the late 1800s. There is a stamp on the back: Newington & Scott. If anybody has information about this company, I would appreciate hearing from you! Or if anybody has a better date for when this tile might have been manufactured, I'd like to hear from you also.
